Give Nancy Pelosi a Push to Impeach

VirtualReality2 Host and commentator, Marc Keyser

My guest today is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif). She is extremely busy, so she’s here in virtual reality. They are calling her “President Trump’s worst nightmare.”

Nancy Pelosi: I’m worried Donald Trump won’t give up power if he loses reelection in 2020 by a slim margin.

Marc Keyser: Aren’t we all?

Nancy: We must inoculate against that; we have to be prepared for that. The best way to do that is for voters to hand Trump an overwhelming defeat.

Marc: What’s your “coldblooded” plan for Democrats to win the White House in 2020?

Nancy: The party’s nominee must own the parts of the electorate that are “center-left” in ideology and in the mainstream.Marc: Trump’s behavior as outlined in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report and the president’s subsequent efforts to block witnesses from testifying before congressional committees and his continuing to obstruct justice certainly are grounds for impeachment and criminal indictment.

Nancy: Attorney General William Barr’s lied to Congress for Trump and that’s a crime.

Marc: Trump must be impeached. He must be removed from office and brought to justice. We must have the truth about the depths of this man’s depravity. But should we wait until the 2020 election?  Should we let Trump use his power as President to continue to obstruct this investigation into his criminal and treasonous actions?

Nancy: Efforts to rid us of the Trump presidency via impeachment would likely flounder in the Republican-controlled Senate, where a 2/3 majority is needed to impeach. With Mitch McConnell in control, that’s not going to happen.

The failure to impeach could further divide an already fractured nation and alienate moderate Democratic voters. That’s why I believe Democrats’ best bet for ending the Trump presidency is to win the 2020 election by a landslide.

Marc: Trump posted a tweet demanding that two years be added onto his current presidential term – what an arrogant, criminally insane, treasonous notion.

Nancy: He keeps making it harder and harder not to impeach him. Trump is goading us to impeach him. That’s what he’s doing. Every single day, he’s just like taunting, taunting, taunting because he knows that it would be very divisive in the country, but he doesn’t really. He just wants to solidify his base.

Marc: What if we deliver the votes among Trump Republicans in the Senate to impeach Trump? What if we make Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell an offer he can’t refuse?

Nancy: How?

Marc: The Call-In to Impeach.

Nancy: What is a “Call-In”?

Marc: We simply protest by phone. We call Bank of America 800-732-9194 and complain by the thousands a million times a day. Crash their phones. We obstruct their business, and we force Senate Republicans to vote for impeachment to save Bank of America from a run on the bank. We give Senate Republicans a choice: Impeach Trump or lose Bank of America and risk a meltdown on Wall St.

Nancy: How frightful. On second thought, how delightful. But why call Bank of America?

Marc: Why not Bank of America? That’s where the money is. When Bank of America speaks, Congress listens. No one wants to lose Bank of America, so everyone is likely to get real reasonable and impeach Trump… to just to avoid a financial disaster.

Nancy: Anything this good must be fatting or illegal?

Marc: How is it “illegal” to call and complain? If too many people call Bank of America and complain and the calls crash their phones, that’s the bank’s problem. You can make all the feel-good calls you want to Bank of America and not gain any weight.

Nancy: Well, consumers do have a right to call and complain.

Marc: As consumers, we have a God-given, inalienable right to complain. We have a Constitutional right to non-violently, peacefully, protest. This is passive-aggressive protesting, this is resistance from a distance; this is obstruction of business; this is imposing economic sanctions simply by calling in solidarity; this is Virtual Reality protesting by phone without riot police, tear gas, rubber bullets, fire hoses, beatings and arrests. And we avoid a confrontation in the streets with Trump’s paramilitary, neo-Nazi, KKK storm troopers.

Nancy: Calling to complain is obviously non-violent, and it’s so passive-aggressive.

Marc: They say that hell hath no furry like Nancy Pelosi going after Donald Trump.

The Resistance has your back. We can help with impeachment; we can come together and do a Call-In to shut down Bank of America and put Mitch McConnell under our thumb. We can force Senate Republicans to impeach.

So Nancy impeach away.
